Shock monday Morning gripped residents of Nyakashema Village in Ruteete sub-county Kagadi district after discovering a 56 year Old Man dead in a fermented Sugar cane Juice (OMUNUMI) Over excessive drinking. OC Ruteete Police Post- Jesper Rugyenza Mpora, identified the deceased as Raphel Ntuha whom he says was discovered in the wee hour of this morning lying dead in a fermented sugar cane Juice of his neighbor in a distilling place. Residents of the area say, they were shocked by the incident adding that although the deceased died of excessive drinking of Omunumi, he was a good person in the village. Joseph Bahati, the area Chairman says after discovering the deceased, he alerted police which instructed them not to touch the deceased before proper examination. They were later allowed to bury the deceased.
