Kamwenge district leadership faulted over ignoring a deprived school, classes conducted under trees

As a way to develop education standards at St Jude Hill side primary school in Rukunyu trading center, Kahunge catholic parish priest Rev Fr Kakwezi has asked Christians at Rukunyu to have love for their school and support it.

Fr Kakwezi was preaching during the fundraising mass to soloist funds to rejuvenate St Jude Hill side primary school which is craving to get up. The school which has P1-P7 has only 5 classes and others have been attended under trees and in the church.

Now preaching during the mass, Rev Kakwezi has parents to have love for their school, their children through supporting it all way round.

Musinguzi Paul the head teacher adds that the buildings are not enough and parents have gone low on supporting the school. He adds that pupils have always faced difficulties in the rainy season for the classes attended under the trees.

Musinguzi blames the district leadership for killing an eye on the school as they have for long alarmed. He asks the government to intervene and support them with more classrooms.

Meanwhile, Through Hashaka foundation, former Kamwenge district legislator Florence Hashaka Kabahweza has intervened to assist the school with textbooks and one million to support on renovating the
